Hey kids (of all ages), it's Saturday Morning Cartoon time again! Hallowe'en-style!!!

One of the underrated comedy duos of the Golden Age of cartoons were featured in three creepy shorts by animation legend Chuck Jones. The first in 1948. The sequel had to wait six years, but the follow-up came the year after that.

A certain Bad Ol' Putty-Tat gets an unusual role as a non-speaking protagonist house-pet trying to protect his oblivious anthropomorphic Stuttering Pig master from murderous, demonic rats and alien monsters. The '48 entry of the trilogy is actually the first time the Cat is named on-screen. Having previously been called "Thomas"... Weirdly enough, the famous Tom cartoon cat over at MGM was called "Jasper" in his first appearance.
