Rev. William Gale was a student of Wesley Swift, leader of the Christian Defense League and the California Rangers, founder of the Posse Comitatus, founder of the Committee of the States and Chief of Staff of the Militia, and Colonel in the US Army under Douglas MacArthur. Many in DSCI consider Rev. William Gale to be the Father of Christian Identity as he himself coined the term "Christian Identity".
