If you regularly make videos then you will know that batteries are always a problem. It is always best to keep multiple spares on hand both for the cameras and for any portable lights used. The high price of batteries and the time needed to keep them charged is always an issue but this new kit from Vermico may help.

In the box is the twin bay charger itself along with two Vermico NP-F550 batteries, a short USB power cable, a well made semi-rigid carry case and an easy to read user guide. Build quality all seems first rate and at least as good as the high end and expensive rivals.

This handy charging set comes with two Vemico Li-ion 3000 milliamp hour batteries which are compatible with the widely used NP-F550 range. The bright orange batteries are certainly easy to identify and so far as I can tell are just as good as the premium priced rivals and certainly do seem to have a running time as good if not better.

The battery charger will charge two batteries at once, although be sure to connect to a 2 amp USB socket to allow for the extra power needed. The charger has a backlit LCD to show the charging status of each battery. It has a USB-C power input which shows that it is hopefully a recently designed unit. The charger should work with a wide range of batteries compatible with the NP550 format, there are far too many to list here but the Amazon listing for the charging kit gives an extensive list. If it fits the charger, then it will probably charge it. Charging times I found to be excellent too, but the precise time will depend on the battery type used.

The price is £31.99 which I think is pretty good for the quality of the items
