Electric Car MYTHS vs FACTS, Environmental Impact EV vs Gas Car
In this episode, we want to present Electric Car Myths Vs Facts using some scientific data. Our goal is to completely destroy all those fake electric car myths going around, that are being promoted by news media articles, proudly sponsored by big oil and old auto.
We want to analyze the most common so-called "arguments", anti-EV people like to bring forth. There are of course many more, but we took the most important ones. For example: What are the electric car emissions? Is an electric car better for environment? And producing batteries emits CO2 as we know, so what are the electric car batteries environmental impact?
We also go further and want to take into account the whole production chain of gasoline or diesel cars, the complete well to wheel ratio, and also the complete chain for EVs, using data from the newest scientific research. We thus estimate the electric car vs gas car carbon footprint for the complete production chain.
Unsurprisingly, EVs again win against ICE cars in really any possible scenario and in any possible country. Even taking into account the lithium ion battery production, EVs still have a lower CO2 emission over their complete production and life cycle, than gasoline or diesel cars.
We therefore hope to have contributed something against all these anti-EV fake news going around, being often cited by EV-haters and petrolheads. We hope to one day see all these electric car myths busted.
