The advocacy of permanent war at the G7 summit is the path chosen by TransAtlantic leaders, even as they acknowledge the problems they face: the sanctions policy against Russia has failed; the Chinese economy continues to grow; the Global South prefers economic ties with Russia and China to the hostile bullying they face from the West; and trade and investment in national currencies is spreading, despite efforts to prevent it.
