"What brings you out so far?" said the man dressed in brown
"I've come for one of yours," said the King's faithful hound
"And I'm bound where you're bound, and I'll run you to the ground

"Not while there's breath in me!" said the man dressed in brown

"How will you fight on land?" said the King's faithful hound
"With a pistol in my hand," said the man dressed in brown
"And the sound will resound, just as when we stood our ground

"How will you fight in the black?" said the King's faithful hound
"With a good crew at my back," said the man dressed in brown
"And what we've found will rebound on the conscience of the Crown
