Christmas Bar Cookies
Merry Christmas! My gift to you is this cookie recipe that's been in my family for YEARS!! These are absolutely scrumptious, I hope you'll give them a shot! Have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year, everyone! XD
M&M Christmas Cookies
2 ½ Cups Flour
1 ¼ t Baking Soda
1 t Salt
1 Bag of Plain Christmas M&Ms
1 Cup Butter (at room temp)
¾ Cup Sugar (or Sugar Substitute)
1 Cup Brown Sugar
2 Eggs (at room temp)
1 t Vanilla
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large mixing bowl combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Using a sifter is helpful for the cookie texture. Mix dry ingredients together.
In your stand mixer bowl cream the butter, gradually adding the sugars. Be sure to let the mixture blend after adding each ingredient. Then add the eggs and vanilla.
When the wet mixture is blended slowly add the dry ingredients. When the dry ingredients are mixed, then add the M&Ms.
Spray a 9x13 pan with baking spray. Put the cookie mixture in the pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool completely before serving.
