The claim is that there was a significant stream of traffic which at least 6 of the USA Today workers just happened to be in optimal positions to see American Airlines Flight 77 fly over and smash into the Pentagon.

For years many groups of professionals have researched 9/11. Due to the complex nature some academic professionals have chosen to research into one particular area.
Craig Ranke & Aldo Marquis are the CIT or Citizen Investigation Team and they specifically chose to concentrate on the goings on surrounding the Pentagon.
Over the years their work has been slammed by academics as misinformation and because this has come from seemingly very reputable sources many people have listened to what they had to say and never really gave CIT a chance.
