Bizarre FDA Warning Against HCQs Usage, 3033
Good afternoon, I’m still reporting on the coup.
Yesterday, the U.S. Food & Drug Administration warned doctors against prescribing hydroxychloroquine for the treatment of COVID-19 disease except for those who are either hospitalized, or part of a research study.
This despite dozens of front-line doctors reporting they have treated thousands of COVID-19 patients with overwhelming success over the last three months.
The FDA claimed that the reason for the new advice against widespread use of the decades-old drugs, hydroxychloroquine and it’s older relative, chloroquine, is heart rhythm problems, severely low blood pressure and muscle and nerve damage.
However, critics of the new FDA advice wonder why the agency batched together the older drug, chloroquine, which is known for these side effects, with its newer replacement, hydroxychloroquine, which was created specifically to avoid such problems.
Some reporters who typically work from home and are sometimes seen on camera with a talking dog named Molly, even suspect that the new FDA directive may be the work of bureaucratic holdovers from the previous administration who do not want hydroxychloroquine quickly resolving the COVID-19 pandemic and thereby bringing about a premature end to the national economic shutdown which would likely ensure President Trump’s overwhelming reelection in the Fall.
But that, of course would fall squarely into the category of a conspiracy theory.
Laura Ingraham was equally shocked by what she termed the “bizarre” FDA advisory, as were two of her top doctor guests last night.
I’m still reporting from just outside the citadel of American freedom. Good day.
