Michigan AG Booed in Strong Biden District!, 3926
Yes, there is hope, and plenty of it, even in far-left Michigan. Michigan’s Attorney General Dana Nessel spoke at an event in Royal Oak, MI over Labor Day weekend.
Interestingly, the event was something called the “Arts, Beats and Eats” festival – certainly a left leaning audience – but when she came on stage, apparently to plug her candidacy briefly, unfortunately for her, the mic she was handed was not on. That gave the crowd their chance to make their political sentiments known.
She was nearly booed off the stage. A stage-hand finally turned on her mic and, according to reports she merely announced the next band and fled the scene.
The suppression polling this year is in full swing. The suspicion is that familiar names are throwing heavy money to influence the skews of these polls. Still, in the Michigan Attorney General’s race, where Democrat Nessel is running against GOP opponent Matt DePerno, who is also endorsed by President Trump. Although Nessel is the incumbent, she is leading by only 6 points, and 43% of voters have never heard of her.
Worst of all, only 21% of voters who have heard of her view her favorably. Does that sound like an incumbent who is actually going to win her race?
This poll was commissioned by WDIV, Local channel 4 and the Detroit News.
Let’s look at another down ballot race in Michigan for some clarity.
In the election-critical slot of Secretary of State, the incumbent is also a Democrat – Jocelyn Bensen. Her opponent is Kristina Karamo. who is also endorsed by President Trump. Bensen leads this same local poll by nearly 11 points.
However, despite being the incumbent, only 58% have heard of Bensen, despite considerable publicity in Election 2020. Of that 58% only 25.5% view her favorably. with only 6 weeks until election day. Interestingly a very large percentage of Independent voters – 40% - are still undecided in this Secretary of State race.
If the booing poll is any judge, it looks like Attorney General incumbent, Dana Nessel, and could be in for a rude upset. But with the Trump endorsement, I wouldn’t count out either Kristina Karamo or Matt DePerno.
This just in from the Gateway Pundit. The Michigan’s governor’s race is tightening up fast. A poll taken at the end of May found the Democrat incumbent governor, Crazy Gretchen Whitmer, ahead of her Trump-endorsed Republican opponent, Tudor Dixon by 30 points.
Then a poll taken 6 weeks later showed that Dixon had cut Whitmer’s lead to 11 points. The latest poll just came in at it shows Dixon has cut Whitmer’s lead down to 5 points. But among the key voting demographic, voters aged 50 to 64, Whitmer has just a one-point lead.
And this was a poll taken by the left-leaning AARP. It amazingly also showed that a shocking 71 percent of respondents believe the nation is headed in the wrong direction. Wrong direction numbers take a while to sink in. In other words, this is a second lane of the voters seem to be trending to the new-comer like Tudor Dixon.
Based on these two trends, I’m calling the Michigan governor’s race as a big upset in favor of Dixon, and a 70% chance that it will be a Republican sweep for these statewide candidates in Michigan.
I’m still reporting from just outside the citadel of freedom. Good day.
