In the first Presidential Debate between President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden, Joe Biden asked Donald Trump to denounce the Proud Boys. It was in the same conversation as denouncing white supremacists, it would appear Joe Biden was calling the Proud Boys white supremacists, although it wasn't entirely clear from the exchange.
But the Proud Boys appear not to be white supremacists. Their leader Enrique Tarrio is half Cuban/half black. They have black members and members of all races.
I don't know everything about the Proud Boys group, seems to be a patriotic group who wants to support America, liberty and freedom.
Kevin Hart and some other people seemed to be upset that Donald Trump said "stand back, stand by" about the Proud Boys when asked about them in the debate. It does seem like Trump mis-spoke. He likely meant don't do anything illegal.
Meanwhile Joe Biden would not condemn ANTIFA who are definitely domestic terrorists.
