The weather out here is getting to be perfect for the richer, full bodied brews of winter. This Winter Warmer from Boulevard is a nice choice for the season. She is running 7.8 ABV with 38 IBUs and the SRM?EBC is a nice rust brown 61.
On the nose she has a nice roasted malt smell, not too malty or sweet , very enticing. The initial hit is rich, smooth and dark with that roasted malt taste. She does hit bitter initially but not overly so. She runs medium thru the middle and finishes off clean and slightly bitter. A really well made brew.
