This video is with Maria who found herself in a relationship with a schizophrenic boyfriend whose voices had taken him over and her attempt to save him which almost cost her life. Her experience underlines the fact that if the victim does not realize they have been taken over, blames others for everything and will not listen to others, admit something is drastically wrong, refuse help and take no responsibility for getting rid of the voices a partner who continues to try to wake them up without their cooperation is considered a threat by the voices and is putting themselves in grave danger. Marie relates her harrowing experience trying to save her boyfriend from a malicious force she barely understood which put her in grave danger. Sometimes these severe victims can be reached while under the influence of a major tranquilizer which they are often unwilling to take. The tabloids are full of dramatic news articles where significant others were seriously attacked or killed trying to help victims the voices had control over. When is it time for a helper to hit the ejection seat to save themselves?
