On Thanksgiving Day, 2018 more than 1,000 fake refugees rushed the U.S. border in Tijuana. They came from their encampment at the Benito Juarez Sports Center about a mile away from the San Ysidro border crossing in San Diego.
This video was made in Mexico at the place, called El Chaparral border crossing or on the US side, called PEDWEST.
At first they tried to run to the right via the lanes where vehicles enter Mexico. Some were able to cross to the US in this direction, before the Mexican federal police were able to block the lanes with metal panels.
Then they refugees ran to the left, which is in the direction of the US side of the border crossing. However, the US had there lanes blocked. They spread out to different areas of the border to try to cross.
Not shown in this video, but some of the fake refugees were attacked by Tijuana citizens, who were angry that they refugees were causing the border to be shut down, which was a threat to their businesses and jobs.
The sign one would-be crosser is holding reads, "The Third World is now here.", in Spanish "El tercero mundo esta aquí."
This is a video from my YouTube channel which they deleted in October, 2019 and banned me. With the new surge at the border in 2021, it seems like a go time to re-upload it for background information.
