Once again we're amazed by the fast Gigafactory 3 progress, as people are already starting to work there! Moreover, the Tesla stock continues its rebound, just as we've predicted two months ago. And finally, we got some first concrete information on Elon Musk's mysterious Neuralink project from the latest official Neuralink presentation.
The continuing Tesla stock rise basically confirmed our previous suspicion that the stock was artificially kept undervalued by the news media's negative bias towards Tesla. Now that the big hedge funds have switched their role from Tesla short sellers to opening long positions on the stock, the news media also suddenly turned a bit more positive on Tesla.
Furthermore, we expect very positive results for the upcoming Tesla earnings call Q2 2019, which will certainly boost the Tesla stock rebound even more.
Assembly lines are already being installed in Tesla Shanghai Gigafactory 3, which could start to produce Model 3s as early as in September. Besides, Tesla is improving its publicity among the Chinese by hosting music parties with QQ Music, a popular Chinese music streaming service which has lately become available in all Tesla vehicles in China.
Due to the nice Tesla Q2 sales numbers, we believe in Tesla profit growth and that they will sell many more cars than what most people thought to be possible by the end of this year.
BMW could see a revival of their electric car production, should Oliver Zipse, instead of the EV-skeptic Klaus Fröhlich, become the new CEO after the resignation of Harald Krüger. The latter has basically been responsible for destroying BMW's early start with electric cars, as they already came out with the BMW i3 and BMW i8 over 5 years ago.
Elon Musk finally unveiled what is Neuralink doing: developing a brain-computer chip, the N1. This is some real cyberpunk technology which is supposed to enhance your cognitive functions and allow you to control objects with your thoughts. We're very excited by this major Neuralink update, as this brain-PC interface will not only greatly improve the life of paralyzed and blind people, but eventually might be able to prevent the extinction of humanity by merging ourselves with the Neuralink AI.
