No momento da ascensão de Muça ao trono, o Império do Mali consistia nos territórios anteriormente pertencentes ao Império do Gana e Mali e áreas circundantes, Muça obteve muitos títulos, incluindo Emir do Mali, Senhor das Minas dos Uangaras, e conquistador de Ganata, Futa Jalom, e pelo menos outra dúzia de estados.
Ele foi reconhecido como o Homem Mais RICO da História.

Muça I (1312 - c. 1337), commonly referred to as Mansa Muça, was the tenth mansa, which translates as "king of kings" or "emperor", of the Empire of Mali.
At the time of Muça's accession to the throne, the Malian Empire consisted of territories formerly belonging to the Ghanaian Empire and Mali and surrounding areas, Muça obtained many titles, including Emir of Mali, Mines Lord of the Uangaras, and conqueror of Ganata, Futa Jalom, and at least another dozen states.
He was recognized as the Richest Man in History.
