Good morning, Draccy!

Due to the leak that happened hours before the Smash Direct, I'm pretty sure everyone was expecting Simon. However, I don't think anyone was expecting Richter to appear as well, and I'm pretty sure less than no one was expecting Kid Dracula, of all characters, to show up as a stage boss. In light of all this, I decided to try and cover the opening level from his home game, and since it's based on Castlevania 3's opening level (which was already made in VRC6 to begin with) I figured I'd try and do it in the style of Akumajō Densetsu...which raises a few problems of its own.
See, in CV3 style VRC6, a good set of instruments go from V00 to V-whatever within their specific Pulse Width settings, meaning I had to make a ton of instruments specifically for whatever the situation called for. This admittedly clears up space in the effects channel for other stuff, and honestly makes it sound cleaner than it would be otherwise, but I normally try to avoid making instruments that have specific pulse widths and just make one or two with specific volumes and worry about pulse widths in the effects list because I feel like it bloats the instrument list, sometimes with instruments I don't ever use. Perhaps most pivotal to this was to avoid using the Triangle channel, and after having relied on it for so long it's a little weird not using it. However, I think this turned out pretty well.
