A quick look round a Rochdale Olympic Phase 2, taking approximately 60 seconds or so.
Rochdale cars are British sports cars made with GRP bodies, built from 1948 to 1973.
In 1954 Rochdale launched the Mark IV, which was a two seater bare shell, which was intended to be bolted onto an Austin 7 chassis. The body cost £47 and 10 shillings and was produced until 1961. About 150 were made.
The Phase II Olympic was introduced in 1963 and used a Ford 116E 1500cc engine that produced 78bhp. It could reach 114mph with a 0-60 time of 11 seconds.
If you are the owner, or even if you know anything about this car, please feel free to drop a comment and offer up some details. I’d love to know more about it.
