This is the first part of the tune "Ashokan Farewell" from the show "Civil War" which aired on PBS in 1990. http://www.pbs.org/kenburns/civil-war/about/about-overview/

This was also one of my Uncle Bob's favorite tunes. I had learned to play it on the flute for him years ago (also performed it at a Scottish gathering in the North Georgia Mountains back in 1991 or 1992).
