Caution! All the loud racket of a damn lawn mower blaring and children screaming after dark put me in a foul mood and lots of 'F' bombs burst forth. Most were edited out but some still remained, so just be aware.
Anyway, a 31% Waxing Crescent in the SW with Venus lower to the right and Jupiter over to the left of the Moon. Problems with Saturn yet again with it edging closer to the tree each night until finally it was buried inside the branches this evening - but I waited it out to get some decent footage at the end.
This Friday July 20th, the Moon & Jupiter will be neighbors, then next Tuesday July 24th it'll be Saturn and the Moon pairing up, and onto Friday July 27th for the Full Moon & Mars as companions, with Mars the closest to Earth for the year, and the Lunar Eclipse that day also (but won't be seen in North America).
