Agrippa: Talismans & Pentacles in the Three Books of Occult Philosophy

In this video, I go over the basics of astrological talismans and their use in Renaissance magic and occultism, drawing from Heinrich Cornleius Agrippa's "Three Books of Occult Philosophy" (aka "De Occulta Philosophia"), and also looking at earlier and similar classical source works, such as the Picatrix, the Key of Solomon, and other classical texts on this form of magic. The source text for this is Agrippa's 2nd book of the "De Occulta Philosophia," chapters 33-47, as well as from [Pseudo] Agrippa's "Fourth Book, or of Magical Ceremonies."
