On 12/5/18 I was arrested and charged with Obstruction of a law enforcement officer. They have no case against me really since I broke no law and was searched against my will by Deputy Elliot of the Spokane Country Sheriff's office. This is an update on that charge and footage they used off of my SD card that was stolen from me that night. I have already done a story with this footage however the county prosecutor is now charging me with obstruction of a law enforcement officer for this incident as well. This occurred with deputy Hairston of the Spokane Sheriff's Department on 11/16/18. I thought it went ok other than the deputy and I have a word to say about where we could stand. I'm guessing the charge comes from Deputy Hairston insisting on waiting for back up to proceed with his investigation since I didn't comply with his orders since I'm a free man and not being detained by him. I was not a part of his investigation and was just recording from public documenting this extortion attempt by this cop. Please LIKE, SHARE and SUBSCRIBE!
