This is a brief video explaining how to shim a barrel extension to eliminate sloppy fitment, and accurize your AR15.

I'm not a gunsmith, machinist, or expert. I'm just a guy with a webcam and too much time on his hands. This video is provided for informational purposes only. I'm not responsible for anybody who follows this advice.

That being said, I've tested shimmed vs. unshimmed barrels and have found that in receivers that have sloppy fits, this can improve accuracy noticeably.

This will not make a bad barrel good. It just eliminates one small variable in the quest for accuracy.
