Girl, 3, cried ‘Daddy, daddy!’ as stranger raped her in McDonald’s toilet

A three year-old girl whimpered ‘Daddy, daddy’ to try and summon help as she was sexually assaulted by a stranger in a McDonald’s toilet. The youngster suffered the horrific attack while visiting the Chicago restaurant on Monday by suspect Christopher Puente. The girl was at the city’s flagship McDonald’s store with her dad and brother when her brother ‘had an accident.’

The youngsters’ father took both of them into the men’s restroom, and then took his son with him into a cubicle to clean himself up while his daughter waited outside. Puente, 34, is then said to have lured the toddler into his cubicle while her dad was preoccupied.

He pulled her into his lap, pulled down her pants and underwear, then raped her, it is alleged. The attack left the youngster crying out for help, with Puente covering her mouth with his hand to try and stifle the sound.

But the little girl’s dad heard her voice, and tried opening the locked stall door. He then looked over the top of the partition, saw what was happening to her and grabbed the child’s legs to pull her out.

The dad took his children out to his wife, then went back into the bathroom, by which time Puente is said to have fled the scene. He was arrested on Wednesday after an altercation at a store which saw him refuse to leave. Police called to the scene recognized him from surveillance images shared of the McDonald’s attacker. He was seen on video entering the restroom before the victim, and leaving after her father took her back to her mother. Puente is said to have confessed to abducting the girl and taking her clothes off, but denied raping her. He said that he was f****d up and thinking dirty. ‘He was dirty and didn’t want the police looking for him or catching him. ‘He said he was paranoid and looking around as he left the bathroom because he knew what he did was wrong.’ It was explained in court

Puente has been charged with predatory criminal sexual assault. The alleged rapist, who has previous convictions including burglary, theft, and battery is held without bond and will have his next court hearing on the 10th March.
