Discovered the Gravity Suit in Phendrana. It allows you to do double jumps in water. Using this ability I went back to the crash site and reached the Phazon mines. There I encountered some pirates, who have incorporated Samus' technology into their armour making them only vulnerable to a single weapon from your arsenal. Further along I fought a mini-boss called the Elite Pirate, who is a giant raining rockets on you, but he went down pretty quickly. After going through an electrical labyrinth with the morph ball I found the power bomb.
