was talking with a friend who suggested I change "woman" to yaknow the masculine or universal - like boyfriend, honey, darlin - and well you know I changed it to "Kitty" for Tiger baby - but performing it live.. I just think changing "woman" would like mess with the whole integrity of the song - cause guys and girls alike love to sing a long to the chorus NO WOMAN NO CRY.. but then.. well I thought being WOKE about it might make sense.. so let's GO! (insert tongue in cheek emoji if there were one) also... crying is good sometimes - real good - grounding us and removing toxins, processing grief, etc.
