---This talk is Mona McNee on the British Education Disaster. The obviously useless 'look say' method was introduced by Prof Sir Fred Schonell and held sway from 1945-1975. Not much has changed since then, despite the platitudes. Millions of Britons are more or less illiterate. McNee does her best to practise remedial reading and writing teaching, based on her experiences; her phonics based materials are available by ordering online. If you have a child with reading difficulties, don't panic; try McMee's simple techniques, which of course were used for centuries.

'The Great Reading Disaster' is jointly written by Alice Coleman and Mona McNee. It's illustrated in the video.

Note that the issues of race and IQ and control over publishing are not mentioned at all by Coleman or McNee. Nor do they seem aware of Jewish issues. (Was Schonell a Jew? Someone find out, please!)
