There are many strategies that we can use to divide by 10. We can use repeated subtraction, a number line, or a multiplication table to find related facts. When we use a number line to help us divide, we make jumps that go back towards zero, to the left. Counting back on a number line is like using repeated subtraction to divide. We have examples in which we use related multiplication facts to help us find a quotient and a multiplication table to help us divide. We discuss how to find if equations are less than, greater than, or equal to each other by solving each side first, so we can compare their answers.
