A quick view from the top of Kings Mountain in the Oregon Tillamook Forest. This hike took place Saturday, March 18th, 2023.

Snow was absent from the trailhead but soon patches appeared along the trail. At about 1500 feet snow was consistent with a little bit still left up on the Summit. Enough to sink up to your hip in as you came up the trail through the forest! An awesome 2.5 mile hike to the Summit, this hike is most definitely rated as difficult any time of the year. Be sure to bring your warm clothing and plenty of water and sign the ledger up top!
