For the first time in the 21 years she's been with me, I finally managed to get Natasha, my pet tarantula (named after my favourite crazy Russian redhead) to shed her skin on camera. To be fair, the last time she shed her skin was three years ago. The entire process, from when she finally started wiggling to when she was out of the old skin, took two hours, but I sped it up.
