You really have to laugh about privacy online, sites offering personal VPNs and other protections, being rather computer illiterate and of the babyboomer generation, I never trusted systems I no nothing about, and still don't do online banking or if making a purchase with a credit card, always used one that was too maxed and not much to take advantage of beyond the purchase price of the item, about a couple of years ago, I was surprised to receive an email from the attorney general, Jeff S informing me that I and others had been hacked thru Experian, one of the credit reporting agencies, and a form to fill out for a class action lawsuits, which I never did, having already been down that road over some med product and recovering less than 2 dollars, since this hack involved gov workers and retired gov workers, 144,000 originally but continue to climb in the weeks after, every thing was taken, SSI numbers, med records ect. ie hacked to the bone, a change in Medicare cards tied to SSI# resulted, after the roller coaster ride of emotions most go through, people opening or trying to open accounts in your name, I finally could care less about it, what could anyone ever gained from from this, if your a broke ass anyway, there's always going to be problems with a world wide system, where people outside of jurisdiction of the country, continue to hack constantly and with ease, and going down the rabbit holes you learn and realize, every thing is copied, and a good hacker can go anywhere, even to the FBI to help them unlock an iPhone, take advantage of our 1A, and remember the only thing anyone can take from us small guys is our words, we own this advantage, won't see any regret here.
