An interview with the Swedish junior doctor who is on a mission to replace mis-information with facts.
Sebastian Rushworth MD — who graduated from the Karolinska Institute, one of the world’s leading medical universities and is currently working at a major Stockholm hospital — is author of ‘Covid: Why most of what you know is wrong’.
He says: ‘I am a proponent of evidence-based medicine. In other words, I think that medical diagnosis and treatment should be guided by the scientific evidence, not by expert opinion or personal anecdote, and certainly not by salespeople working for pharmaceutical companies.’
Sebastian draws together his experience working on the Covid frontline and his passion for unearthing the truth to explore a range of topics related to the pandemic and the Swedish response in particular.
Finding out more about Sebastian's first-hand experience of Sweden’s Covid-19 response and how we can find the facts in the sea of misinformation.
