Melb Australia: After A Speech By State Secretary CFMEU, John Setka, The Members Cast Their Opinion

Context of events:
Speaking to a friend today (night Aust time), regarding these events, he informed me of the following:
Construction, Forestry, Maritime, Mining & Energy Union (CFMEU) is one of the most militant and corrupt unions in Australia. It is apparently run by Communist sympathizers who line their pockets and do very little for the average worker. It would appear that events today show that they are aligned with Government and not their workers. It is clear they don’t want any ‘Jab’ however the union is siding with the tyrant Dan Andrews. Furthermore, they are one of the major funding organizations for the party to which Andrews leads. Given today’s events and some of the comments and concerns of the rank-and-file members, it would appear the union is going to have a torrid time. Furthermore, they have come out blaming ‘radical right-wing extremists’, ‘Neo-Nazi’s’ and other antagonists with very few being ‘actual CFMEU’ members. Apparently, that is utter garbage with the majority being paid up members who have had enough of the union not representing their views.
