Christ Ascended Up into Heaven, a Real Place

His Majesty ascended into heaven today… 40 days after He rose up from the tomb. He ascended fully human, body and soul alive and well and glorified. In the Creed we profess: “He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of the Father” and “I await the resurrection of the dead.” We are all to rise again and those who are friends with God will ascend to their place in heaven. Yes, Heaven is a real place. Because real human bodies are there. Some in our times, of no little standing we might add, have questioned whether heaven is a place, nay even openly deny heaven is place. This is because they have started with the faulty science of relativity ...that there is no direction in our cosmos. And they sadly end by denying the bodily resurrection, asserting that it is instead resurrection of persons... This too is part of the diabolical disorientation of our times. O how dangerous it is to lose the order established by God in Creation. It is a simple fact that knowing up from down is very important for saving our souls and keeping our selves properly oriented in these disoriented days.
