Sullivan has claimed in several interviews that he regularly attends protests just to film what is going on, but did not actively participate in the Washington uprising. "It's all about filming and not actively participating," he told Fox News last week.

In the footage he streamed for his followers on his Discord server, Sullivan, who uses the Discord name "Jayden X," can be heard unleashing violence at the U.S. Capitol and boasting about breaking a window. "If we don't get in, we're going to torch the place," he gloats. "Let's do it! We own this shit. Shit, yeah. I can't believe this is reality. We made this shit. We did this shit together."

"I didn't know I hit it [the window] that hard. Nobody got that on camera," he continues. "Fuck the cops! Fuck the cops!" This footage comes from a source who wishes to remain anonymous for security reasons.
