Robot inventor Dr. Sergi Santos who builds bots with his wife claims a companion bot could save marriages. Santos says his marriage to Maritsa Kissamitaki was falling apart until they accepted a bot into the family. The pair - who have been together for 16 years - invented ‘Samantha’, an artificial intelligence robot. An electrical engineer by profession, Santos says his wife gave him the idea to implant his AI network into a robot - and the pair now run their business Synthea Amatus together.
