After the death of Keyla Hernandez, [a reporter for WAPA TV] and in remembrance of people who died of Cancer, I decided to start another fundraiser. This was started during our Hispanic traditions of Dia De Los Reyes or Three Kings Day in which a person makes a promise.
My promise was to record a video, shower fully clothed and then donate to the American Cancer Society. I am inviting and challenging people [if they are able] to do the same thing.
The challenge is called #SHOWERAGAINSTCANCER and it is almost like the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge but it is to raise money for a cure against Cancer. You can record the video via You Tube or other social medias as proof of having done this challenge of accepting the challenge, doing it while recording the video and then donate.
January 19, 2019 : Miami Beach, Florida. Ana Gimenez Spanish Actress and Singer of TV, Radio and Theater accepted the #SHOWERAGAINSTCANCER Challenge. She has declared her intention to unite in the cause against cancer and spread the news about the need to cure cancer in Spain, the American Continent, and the World
February 20, 2019 : I am challenging Alicia Ayme, Natalia Ayme, and Stephen Aim and they have until October 31 to accept and do the challenge including donation.
February 27 2019 : Those who can't do the #SHOWERAGAINSTCANCER and want to contribute can do #TAKETHEPLUNGEAGAINSTCANCER by jumping fully clothed in a pool, lake, beach
June 15, 2019 : Ana Gimenez accepted the challenge and issued the same challenge to all of the artists to #SHOWERAGAINSTCANCER. Roberto Alvarez-Galloso redid the challenge and issued a challenge to all of his subscribers and followers
Despues de la muerte de Keyla Hernandez [reportera de WAPA TV] y en comemoracion de amistades y familiares que perdieron la batalla contra el cancer, inicie #DUCHACONTRAELCANCER. Este reto y invitacion fue basada en una iniciativa durante el Dia De Los Reyes, una tradicion entre la comunidad hispana en EEUU, America Latina, y Espana con una promesa. Prometi grabar el video, duchar con mi ropa puesto, donar y hacer una invitacion a todos en hacer lo mismo [hacer el reto y/o invitacion, grabarte haciendo el reto y donar.
