I recommend keeping a few extra sets of quality strings, I use D'Addario Pro Arté Nylon Classical Guitar Strings normal tension. First thing I do with a new guitar is to remove the existing strings and replace them with higher quality, as the stringing is usually poorly done anyway. I do not recommend using a motorized tool to tighten or loosen strings, as it could lead to damaging the instrument. In the finishing stringing touch, I suggest not cutting the strings right away and instead, passing them back into their hole a couple of more times, if long enough, at least for the thinner ones, before rolling them up tight. For a Ukulele, I also recommend using better sounding white Aquila New Nylgut strings for the proper instrument size, soprano, concert, tenor, or baritone. I also recommend the BOSS tuner, which is very precise to tune instruments; It has a mode perfect for guitars, bass guitars, and it also has a Ukulele mode, which I tune my Concerto Ukulele with, in the non-traditional Hawaiian way, but more as a mini guitar, from bigger to smaller strings, equivalent to the 5th fret notes of the 4 smallest strings of a regular guitar.
