It's surprising to find out how little you have to do to cool the inside of your van off. That's right folks I'm beating the sweltering heat. 103 and 105 degree heat index. I didn't think I was going to be able to make it through…

Don't let the hysterical weather reporters frighten you too much. A lot of this is mind over matter. A lot of it is finding a vacant shade tree, which are at a premium this time of the year. Get yourself some $5 USB fans and some power banks, and keep them charged, and you're going to do just fine! Oh and plenty of ice.
