This discussion covers a special subset of problems within the history of ideas and history of science centering upon the reproducibility of scientific studies.
Many headlines have carried the stories far and wide relating to a so-called crisis in science. In this episode, I take a look at the scientific method, the idea of parsimony or Occam's Razor, Kuhn's concept of paradigms, and the studies and counter-studies related to the crisis.
