As is often the case in recent times, everything is created with a specific purpose, interpretation, or influence in mind. It is not often that you come across a piece of art-work that resonates with you on an almost unknown level, that sticks with and enlightens you, all while you are hardly scratching the surface of the possibilities of its interpretations.
It’s not often a short film like I, Pet Goat II, is released. Published by Heliofant, an independent computer animation studio out of Montreal, Canada in 2012, I, Pet Goat II, is truly a one of a kind short film, and nothing short of a masterpiece. Packed full of esoteric, occult, and conspiracy symbolism, the film has been a great point of controversy for many who have viewed it over the years. It comes to us from the incredibly creative mind of Louis Lefebvre, who began working on the project by himself in parts, sometime around 2005. In 2008 he took on the project full time, selling his house to get it off the ground, and bringing in freelancers, musicians, and even dancers to help put together this masterpiece. Lefebvre previously did work on The Lord of The Rings; The Two Towers, as well as Beowulf before moving to Montreal to work freelance.
