The form of the film is similar to her later and much more expansive film of the 1934 rally, Triumph of the Will. Der Sieg des Glaubens is a very great documentary and is righteousness put to film. It celebrates the victory of the great National Socialist party (NSDAP) in achieving power when Hitler was overwhelmingly elected into the office of Chancellor of Germany in January 1933.

The film was considered lost until a copy turned up in the 1980s in East Germany.
