I was talking to a Japanese girl the other day about filthy overcrowded overpriced late British 1970s rolling stock trains, privatised for the interest of the shareholders, only. The girl said, "In Japan, it is not possible for a train to be late!" She went on to say that if a train was fractionally late [usually out of Tokyo lines], then every passenger on the platform waiting would have to get an apology letter and a fine, per minute delay, paid to them....Time to slap this onto filthy over-crowded over-priced and always late British trains like VIrgin and Northern...
