The Casio Duro, Reference MDV106-1AV, is a Stainless Steel Quartz powered Diver watch. Coming in Under $50 USD the Duro is exceptional value for the price and is well known among both diver’s and watch collectors. The Casio Duro has a diameter of 44 millimeters, putting it on the bigger side, but wears nice with a lug to lug of 48 millimeters. Shipping with a black resin band, this watch has a lug with of 22 millimeters. Swapping bands for a new leather strap, nato, rubber or silicon band or even a new bracelet offers you a different feel for just a few extra dollars. This Quartz powered Japan movement watch weighs in at 82 grams with a case thickness of 12 millimeters. As this is a dive watch, you can expect it to be on the thicker side, even quartz powered divers. This is expected and needed to provide the water resistance of 200 meters. The case is Stainless Steel with a 120-click unidirectional Stainless Steel bezel and sports a Mineral Glass crystal and a water resistance rating of 200 meters.
