YouTube Attacks MGTOW Again!
YouTube Attacks MGTOW Again!
YouTube to Crack Down on Conspiracy Video Recommendations

Hi Everyone Sandman Here,
This video is brought to you by a donation from David. He didn't give me a specific topic so I wanted to discuss how YouTube is yet again is attacking MGTOW, Skeptic and independent channels. I'm not even going to run an ad on this video. I think it's really important for everyone to understand what's happening and where things are probably going. So the first thing that happened on November 15th of 2018 was the MGTOW Adpocalypse and now on January 25th YouTube said it would curb referrals to what it calls "borderline content." Content that's not against it's terms of services but they just don't like so they have now shifted the goalposts and won't be recommending it to new viewers. When I
heard this news I knew immediately that MGTOW would be targetted. I looked at my traffic and saw that about forty to forty-five percent of my total YouTube traffic comes from recommended videos. I put a Bloomberg video in the description to show you guys what I mean about this. It's February 2nd right now as I script this and up until a few days ago my videos were averaging about 25-30 thousand views. You're going to ask, why are you bringing this up Sandman you aren't even making any money off of YouTube advertising anymore? Why do you care if your traffic goes down? You still have a dedicated support base of sponsors, patrons and people sending in questions for donations? But I do care because less views might mean less sales for advertisers. Instead of twenty five to thirty thousand views per video what if they only get fifteen to twenty thousand views? Which is what I see starting to happen. Mind you it's not a total disaster but it's another clear signal to me that YouTube doesn't want us here. So far for me this is only effecting the recommendations for new videos. Up until a video was a complete and utter failure if it didn't break twenty thousand views. Now it's a failure if it doesn't reach twelve or thirteen thousand views. So I can see what YouTube is attacking the creators it doesn't like by going after their largest source of traffic which is the recommended videos function. I just looked at the analytics for Styxhexandhammer666 and see it's fallen by about a by a third to half. The number of new subscribers he gets is down by about half. When the MGTOW Adpocalypse happened he said that if you do something controvercial you shouldn't be relying on advertising from YouTube to sustain yourself. He of course uses Free Domain radio, his website for donations to help sponsor him as his channel doesn't have any ads. But these days building a website is all about deminishing returns. People don't want to get their content on a website. They want it on social media. But YouTube can't just delete content producers that don't violate their terms of service because that would bring too much negative attention and lawsuits. That would be admitting curation which would take away their government protection of being a platform in make them a publisher in the eyes of the law. Although the law doesn't seem to care that they are curating channels in sneaky ways. My feeling is that they are working with the mainstream media trying to slow and stop subscriber and channel growth for voices they don't like or want. It's yet another attempt to discourage content creators that it doesn't like from posting on the platform. But I don't think they understand that they might be creating a monster. Bitchute is testing ads. When Bitchute starts selling ads and paying content producers that's the point where Bitchute will grow leaps and bounds and not only will the MGTOW and edgier content producers post their content on Bitchute there but so will other YouTubers because they will see it as an additional source of revenue for videos that they have already made. That's the moment that Youtube will officially jump the shark.
