Eleanor Hill Opening Statement

Committee Staff Director Eleanor Hill gives an opening statement before the Committee board. The statement opens up what the Committee has uncovered in the 9/11 investigation. Hill summarizes what the non-intelligence community agencies had any information prior to 9/11, that the 19 individuals had terrorist ties, and focused only on particularly areas such as hijackings and border security. Hill also covers the types of immigration papers the 19 hijackers had and also the topic of information sharing between Intelligence agencies were "hurdles" which cost law enforcement information was not adequately shared between these agencies.
