1968 Film Documentary

The Experience film, made by Peter Neal, was mostly filmed during late November and December 1967. The film, however, was not released until 1968 which is why you hear "House Burning Down", a song from 1968's Electric Ladyland double LP on the soundtrack of this film.
It contains clips from a live show in Blackpool on November 25, 1967 and Bruce Fleming's Photo Studio where Jimi performed Hear My Train A Comin' on a 12 string acoustic. The Fleming footage on my channel is directly cut from this documentary and I posted it to the channel as a separate video to keep with the intended chronology. Blackpool from a different source is also on the channel as a separate video.
The Experience film can be considered the first documentary about Jimi, and the Experience as a whole. While not overly long, it does have great performance footage, Mitch and Noel interviewing Jimi, and some narration. The soundtrack works great too, loved the way Bold As Love is used with the rocket footage!
I think it is a nice ending to the video footage of Jimi Hendrix from 1967, but again it was released in 1968. So don't let the date in the title mislead you!
Well, I made it through the first year of the mission to archive all Jimi Hendrix video I possess! 3 more to go! Onward to 1968!
