Cotton Reboot - Complete Playthrough

Cotton Reboot finally arrived (but not without some emails sent to Strictly Limited asking what the hell was going on with that delay). It's essentially a remake of the original Cotton game and surprisingly I enjoyed it much more than Cotton Fantasy. For one thing you have much better control over the weapons you have since the crystals don't change nearly as quickly. The spells also have a dedicated button, so you don't have to do all the charging given that they are best used when you have to avoid damage. Crystals also give you a split fire refraction when you shoot at them, so it's good to have some in play. Enemy projectiles are also much better defined here and perhaps the backgrounds are not as cluttered. The story is pretty silly, but I do enjoy Cotton and Silk's interactions. Once you beat the game there are more playable characters and a Time Attack mode. I'd say that this is the better shump and definitely worth a try if you are a fan of the genre.
