That Ye Should Follow His Steps Who Did No Sin, Must I Sin? (1 Peter 2 .21-22)
2 Peter 2:21-25
21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: 22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: 23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: 24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. 25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
Now, tell me that we cannot stop sinning. The Apostle Peter declared that Christ suffered for us to set an example that we should follow in His steps, just as He knew no sin. So, we are to know no sin, no more! Otherwise, you are not walking in Jesus' footsteps. And if you are not walking in His steps and stopping sin in your life, then you reject the purpose of Christ's suffering. That means you also reject the Father's plan for Christ in your life. You know what that means. It means you are no longer saved, if you ever were. For if you do not stop sinning, you cannot claim to be walking in Jesus' steps. And Peter says clearly, breathed into by the Holy Spirit of God, that Christ suffered so that we would follow in His steps and know no sin. Your choice! But now you know what it is you risk by sinning.
