As a Cardiology Fellow at University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston (1989-1992), Dr. Fleming was involved in the testing of competing nuclear isotopes (tracers) Teboroxine and Sestamibi. At the time, these drugs were still experimental and they were being compared to other drugs already on the market.
